When you think of India and Indian Cuisine, what prompts your mind??
Umm… rich food with exotic Spices ..yaa but where do all these spices come from.
Well, I don’t know about All but I certainly know where most of it comes from. It would be unfair to not to dedicate a whole post to the magical spice gardens of Kerala.
During my recent visit to Kerala, I visited Udumbanchola in Idukki district of Kerala. which is as twisted as its name and as mysterious as its soil. Put your hand anywhere in soil & there will be some exotic plant or medicinal herb or a rare fruit at the stretch.
We stayed in the dreamiest place, Hotel Ragamaya Resort & Spa, Munnar with the most insane view. If you ever visit Munnar, stay here to do the epic #viewfrommyroom hashtag.

This Hotel is located on top of a hill overlooking the reservoir of Kallar dam and forest surrounding it. We very bravely and enthusiastically trekked all the way to the down to the spice garden.
We got up early morning at 4:30am and through a scary jeep ride, we reached the starting point to trek. Through the labyrinth of exotic & aromatic greens, we reached the river. The Serenity, calmness, and stillness of the place topped with pink sunrise was a sight to behold.
It gives me chills to think about the beauty this place holds. The trees, the birds, the insects, the water, the sun & the freshest of dew. and to think about that, I am made by the same God who made these creatures and this nourished soil. I felt a sense of pride and responsibility to take care of Mother nature so that my generations could felt the same magic as I do.
Enjoy my mere attempt at capturing the beauty of the nature & Like if you love them.

Hope you Enjoyed. Leave me a Comment if you already been to Kerala or wish to visit.
I’ll be happy to answer any queries.
